Citylets is a network product consisting of proprietary and 3rd party media.

Data distribution

Your properties are uploaded to our central database from your online user admin area. They are immediately live on Citylets.co.uk and are distributed to most other meaningful portals in Scotland and the rest of the UK over a 24hr period. If you keep Citylets up to date, the rest follows. It’s a model born of convenience and first evolved here at Citylets as evinced by the unparalleled array of names, most of which are exclusive.

Primary partners

All brands connected to Citylets surrounding our logo above are considered to be primary partners. A primary partner is one to which we directly distribute your property listings and which we consider to have meaningful audience reach. This includes well known local brands such as s1homes.com and national brands such as findaproperty.com

In the same way that we have distribution partners, our partners have partners of their own. For ease of comparison, we think it is hence sensible to list only our direct partners.

The original site and jewel in the network crown. Citylets.co.uk is the most visited dedicated lettings site in the UK. From a national perspective it provides the most leads of any network partner. Simple, uncluttered and easy to use it allows visitors to get the information they need fast and contact agents.

Our most important network partner in Scotland. Part of the S1 family (Scotland’s leading classifieds brand) and owned by media business Newsquest, publishers of The Herald and The Evening Times.

Findaproperty / Primelocation / Globrix

Collectively known as The Digital Property Group (TDPG), these brands represent the 2nd, 3rd and 5th most visited property sites in the UK and are owned by the Daily Mail & General Trust Plc. Their combined monthly audience ranks in the millions.

Nestoria

Nestoria are currently the UKs 6th most visited site (Hitwise April 2010). Their model is different from other sites in that it is a property aggregator taking listings from other property sites such as Citylets.co.uk. Founded by engineers from Yahoo search, the key to their success lies in getting quality and volume positions on the UK’s search engines.

Rightmove

We also upload to Rightmove, but they are not a partner and you would need to be a paying client with them in your own right. We just make life a bit easier for those who want to be on their site as well as Citylets Network.

Network summary

We are your single route to many markets. We don’t partner with everyone, only those that add real value and which will provide you with both tenant leads and leverage with your landlords.

At this time, Citylets.co.uk & S1Homes.com are the main brands as regards to tenant lead generation.

If comparing against other networks, please be aware that we have taken the time to show only the sites where your properties will actually be displayed. We have seen literature for other ‘networks’ which in our view has been misleading.
