Cadder Wharf give access to Scotland’s beautiful and fascinating canal system. They are overseen by Scottish Canals to ensure that they offer safe, friendly and well-maintained places to live. Cadder Wharf offers a mooring in scenic, leafy surroundings in a semi-rural location just off the A803, Kirkintilloch Road, in Cadder.
Set in a beautiful, wooded location between Lambhill and Kirkintilloch, Cadder is a hamlet in the district of the town of Bishopbriggs, just north of Glasgow City Centre. Historically, Cadder was the site of a Roman Fort on the route of the Antonnine Wall. To the north remains of the wall and associated Roman Fort can be found.
Bus links are at the top of the road and nearby Bishopbriggs train station offers a regular service to Glasgow and Edinburgh. The moorings are reached via a gated pontoon and come complete with electricity and water bollards. Residential car parking is located adjacent to the moorings in a purpose built car park but if you do not have your own transport it is very near to excellent public transport connections. For more information on the moorings and boat finance, please give our office a call.
