Indeed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/Www.citylets.co.uk\/flats-rent-glasgow\/\">Property to rent in Glasgow<\/a>\u00a0is generally moving at or below the national average with 2 bed properties taking 30 days to rent on average and up 4.5% to average \u00a3721 per month.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citylets.co.uk\/flats-rent-glasgow\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1571\" src=\"https:\/\/www.citylets.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Glasgow-Market-Overview-Q1-16.jpg\" alt=\"Glasgow-Market-Overview-Q1-16\" width=\"885\" height=\"214\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.citylets.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Glasgow-Market-Overview-Q1-16.jpg 885w, https:\/\/www.citylets.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Glasgow-Market-Overview-Q1-16-700x169.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.citylets.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Glasgow-Market-Overview-Q1-16-400x97.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.citylets.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Glasgow-Market-Overview-Q1-16-768x186.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 885px) 100vw, 885px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Of all Scotland\u2019s main cities where private sector renting is at its most prevalent, Glasgow trends most closely match those for the country as a whole. The movement in Glasgow rents is almost a mirror image of the National trend line 2008-2016. Whilst the rise may not be as steep as that for Edinburgh there is now a steady trajectory resembling that seen in the capital over the last 4 years.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the latest market report, local <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citylets.co.uk\/letting-agents-glasgow\/\">Glasgow Letting Agent<\/a> Graeme McEwan, Managing Director from Be-Rented (Part of Be-Home Group) said:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Indicators are in place for a continuing escalation in rental\u00a0prices as BTL and more recently retire-to-let &amp; build-to-let outstrips our ability to quench investment thirst for quality new units.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And Robert Nixon, Head of Residential Letting from Speirs Gumley, noted:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With the talk of rent capping and removal of the no fault ground you would have thought the market would slow with the uncertainty on how the changes will affect the sector.
