It\u2019s that time of the year again. Mince pies, mistletoe, presents. Notions of Santa bring happiness and joy<\/strong>\u00a0– but is there a darker side to Mr Claus? Would he be a suitable tenant or flatmate for your property? Citylets explores the issues.<\/p>\n

He\u2019ll drop all his little Elf friends on you once he\u2019s in<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n

Officially just Santa on the lease, he\u2019ll have his little helpers around before the ink is dry. Not quite flatmates, but much more than friends\u2026..big problem.<\/p>\n

\"santa<\/a><\/p>\n

He sits around the house 364 days a year<\/strong><\/h4>\n

You have been warned. He won\u2019t leave the house til Christmas eve.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He only says Ho Ho Ho.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Difficult at the best of times. Disturbing when the rent is late.<\/p>\n

<\/h4>\n

He won\u2019t have his front door keys.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

You can guess the rest……<\/p>\n

He will eat all the pies<\/strong><\/h4>\n

To be fair, if you leave them out for him\u2026.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He\u2019ll park his sleigh in the driveway…<\/strong><\/h4>\n

…but his reindeer will tear up your grass.
\n\"santa<\/a><\/p>\n

He\u2019ll take your belongings away in his sack<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Now you understand why he is so jolly!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

….. and he gave the North Pole as his previous address<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Well, you really should know better.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

His red nose is alcohol related<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Job related stress, but perhaps better to sympathise from a distance.<\/p>\n

So there you have it- if you sign that lease remember Santa isn’t just for Xmas….he’s there for the lease term!<\/p>\n
