McLees discusses the concept of Build to Rent (BTR), the unique features of the developments and why this year in particular can be described as a \u2018watershed year\u2019 for the tenure in Scotland.<\/p>\n<p>BTR developments are often funded by private and public sector finance deals and Gillian gives examples of funding models that have been used in existing Scottish BTR schemes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Similarities with other tenures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gillian McLees covers Rettie\u2019s active involvement in BTR including the Harbour Gateway <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citylets.co.uk\/mid-market\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">mid-market<\/a> rent development (MMR) and the commonalities between the two housing deliveries.
