An estate agent in Middlesex was inundated with enquiries for a property after it came to light that it had been fitted with some 147 plug sockets throughout.<\/p>\n

The five bedroom detached house in Pinner sparked a heated conversation on social media due to the ridiculous number of outlets scattered randomly around, with as many as 36 in a single room.<\/p>\n

The property was on sale for \u00a31.3 million and was described as a \u201cfamily haven\u201d, but the advertisement somehow failed to mention the bizarre fact that it was plastered with plug sockets that didn\u2019t seem to follow any pattern.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like the house has chicken pox,\u201d read one post.<\/p>\n

\u201cBet you still need an extension lead for lawnmower though,” said another.<\/p>\n

Some baffled social media users decided to give it a shot and guess the reasoning.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhere they running the CIA from the front room?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWas this an electrician\u2019s training centre at one point?\u201d asked another, or perhaps the previous owners were growing cannabis<\/a> inside the house and needed those plug sockets for heating lights\u2026 the speculations went on.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of a kind\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n

However the owner of the property, despite not knowing the real reason himself as he bought it like this six years ago, found it very practical: \u201cYou have separate plugs for everything rather than having wires everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think my house is one of a kind in the whole of the area.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think any other houses have anything like this.\u201d<\/p>\n
