An unusual \u2018property\u2019 was listed for sale in Essex for \u00a3250,000 earlier this week.<\/p>\n

Clacton based estate agents, Palmer & Partners, posted an igloo for sale, describing it as a \u201cone bedroom house\u201d which would appeal to first time buyers.<\/p>\n

From the listing, \u2018prospective owners\u2019 could learn that the igloo was located on a \u201clarge plot,\u201d on the imaginary \u201cNorth Pole Road\u201d in Clacton-on-Sea in Essex.<\/p>\n

The biggest selling point of this cosy-looking home, was \u201croom to extend,\u201d however, the advert also warned the potential igloo buyers that it was \u201cshowing signs of damp,\u201d therefore a survey was needed before they agreed to buy.<\/p>\n

According to the estate agents, the igloo listing received a few viewing requests.<\/p>\n

Brady Rackham, a partner at Palmer & Partners<\/a>, explained that the idea behind listing the igloo for sale came alive after spotting the remarkable ice construction in Essex on social media. The agent simply wished to spread a little joy.<\/p>\n

Mr Rackham said: \u201cA fantastic local family built this great igloo and we noticed it on social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe could not let the opportunity pass to let the public see it in all its glory, so we decided to put it on the open market for people to see.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt created a lot of conversation and made people laugh which at the moment you can\u2019t ask for more than that. It\u2019s a bit of light-hearted fun and something different to advertise on our platforms.\u201d<\/p>\n

The advert has already been removed by the agent and we can\u2019t help but wonder if it got sold so quickly or simply melted \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
