Call the estate agent or landlord straight away to register your interest. Most properties won\u2019t be given out on a first come first served basis but it\u2019s good to be enthusiastic.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>What is the minimum rental period in Scotland?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>For <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citylets.co.uk\/short-term-lets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">short term<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/underthedoormat.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tenancies<\/a>, there was a minimum rental period of six months but there is currently no minimum period with private residential tenancies.
