We thought it would be useful to expand on the small\u00a0piece\u00a0that appeared in yesterday’s Evening Times which can be seen here<\/a>:<\/p>\n

It was based on figures compiled for our most recent report for Q3 2012 which can be found here<\/a>:<\/p>\n

The 25 least expensive areas to privately rent in Scotland are listed below, and it is noteworthy that Glasgow is the only city that appears on the list. \u00a0In other words Aberdeen and Edinburgh have no areas that are as affordable. \u00a0In fact Edinburgh’s cheapest\u00a0neighbourhood\u00a0is\u00a0Wester Hailes & Sighthill which averages \u00a3560 for a 2 bed flat while in Aberdeen the\u00a0cheapest\u00a0area is Torry with typical equivalent rents of \u00a3636.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
