This recently renovated property is located very close to the city centre, about 2 minutes walk from Holyrood Park, 10 minutes walk from the Royal Mile and 20 minutes from Princes Street.
Almost on the doorstep, Holyrood Park offers wonderful walks and cycle routes and with Arthur's Seat (an extinct volcano) as it's backdrop, it offers some of the best views of the city.
A short walk through the park takes you to the Royal Mile, the main thoroughfare through the Old Town significantly marked with Holyrood Palace at one end and Edinburgh castle at the other. The Royal Mile is made up of a succession of streets bursting with history. You could get lost for days exploring the many cobbled streets, lanes and alleys leading off the Royal Mile through the Old Town.
Other attractions in the area include Dynamic Earth, the Scottish Parliament, the Scottish Storytelling Centre and much of the Edinburgh festival takes place around here in August.
Meadowbank retail park which boasts a Sainsbury's supermarket and a selection of other large stores is within easy walking distance of the property.
There are excellent bus links from London Road in all directions and there is free on-street parking if you are bringing a car.
