Burnside Cottages are outstanding rural property, quietly positioned in an area of beautiful countryside, a short distance to the south of the village of Boarhills near the world famous Kingsbarns Links golf course, Cambo Estate and the Kingsbarns Distillery.
From Burnside there is easy access to the other villages of the East Neuk including Anstruther, Cellardyke, Crail and Elie as well as St. Andrews which is only about seven miles to the north. Ancient, historic and cosmopolitan, the town offers an excellent range of facilities along with a highly regarded university.
St. Andrews is also known world-wide as the Home of Golf. About seventeen miles to the north-west lies Cupar, Fife's bustling county market town, also providing a good range of services.

There are railway stations at Leuchars, Cupar, Ladybank and Markinch with Edinburgh airport less than an hour and twenty minutes to the south.
