Ocean Terminal, a large shopping and cinema complex overlooking the water, is also close by. This is home to one of Scotland's most popular tourist attractions, The Royal Yacht Britannia.
Recreational facilities include the nearby David Lloyd Health Club at Newhaven Harbour, Leith Victoria swimming pool and the Water of Leith cycle paths and walkway.
There are excellent public transport links into the city centre. Regular buses take you to Princes Street in 20 minutes and a direct bus link takes you to and from the airport in less than an hour.
