Our latest report sees rents in the Scottish PRS continue their upward climb as at Q2 2015 despite drag exerted by the City of Aberdeen.
Average rents stood at a high of £762, up 5.4% on the year and taking just 1 month to rent. Annual growth however has slowed from 7.4% last quarter.
Aberdeen rents, still the highest of all Scotland’s cities, fell 3.8% from £1089 to £1043. Glasgow recorded annual growth of 4.4% to £685 per month
but down from 8.1% as at end of Q1. Edinburgh continued its upward trajectory, up 7.3% to average £923 and may soon eclipse Aberdeen as Scotland’s priciest rental market.
