Ah, "the honest toun" of Musselburgh! This is the largest settlement in East Lothian, on the coast of the Firth of Forth, 6 miles east of Edinburgh city centre, but an easy journey lays between them. A peaceful and quiet location which is extremely popular with professionals, students and families alike. Schools here include Loretto School and Musselburgh Grammar School which dates from 1608. Primary schools include Campie, Musselburgh Burgh, Stoneyhill, Pinkie St Peter's, Loretto RC and Loretto Nippers (private).
