This very spacious upper floor property is as comfortable as it is peaceful. Comprising: two bedrooms, one of which is a twin and the other can be either a twin or a double. Both bedrooms are equipped with hairdryers, alarm clocks and bedside lamps. Two bathrooms accommodate the flat one of which is en-suite in the twin bedroom and the other next to the double bedroom. Both bathrooms have walk-in showers, toilet and wash basins. The large kitchen has a breakfast bar with stools, washing machine, dryer, fridge freezer, microwave, radio with iPod docking station, cooker, kettle, toaster, George Foreman grill, iron and ironing board. You will find essential comestibles in the fridge and pantry, toiletries in the bathrooms and all the necessary laundry products. Directly off the kitchen is a large open lounge with a dining area, three piece suite, large flat screen television, DVD player and occasional tables. A selection of DVDs, books and games are available for those lazy, rainy days. There is also a sofa bed and camp bed should anyone wish to add another person or two to their party. Under floor heating is fitted throughout the building which keeps the property cosy even in the very cold Scottish winters together with an electric log burning effect fire to add to the cosy effect. Smoking is not allowed in the flat itself but the owners have no problem with guests having a leisurely smoke outside and are welcome to use the patio furniture just outside should they wish. St Andrews itself plays host to a wealth of historic buildings, theatre, cinema, cafes/restaurants, public bars, wine bars, leisure centre with swimming pool, museum, aquarium, beaches, parks, botanic gardens and shops. For the golfers: Within St Andrews, we have The Old, New, Jubilee, Eden, Strathyrum, Balgove and Castle golf courses which are all looked after by the Links Management Trust. Also nearby, we have the Kingsbarns and Carnoustie courses where the Dunhill Championships are held every year (together with The Old Course). Nearby can also be found The Dukes, Fairmont and Balcomie courses.
