“Q3 has proven to be a busy period for the West Lothian PRS. Properties priced attractively have continued to generate strong levels of enquiry, while those marketed at more ambitious rental levels have generally taken a little longer to let. We’ve also noticed fewer tenants giving notice, suggesting that many are choosing to stay put rather than move and potentially face significantly higher rents elsewhere. As we head into winter, our recommendation to landlords is to use any void periods to freshen up their properties. Tenants are increasingly considering presentation and overall condition when deciding where to move.”
