Congratulations to Rentlocally and Murray & Currie, both Edinburgh letting agents and long standing Citylets clients, who took gold and silver in the Scottish Letting Agent of the Year category at the ESTAs in London last Friday.

The ESTAs, now in their 11th year, are widely recognized in the property industry as a leading Awards event and of course one of the best social occasions in the calendar. The awards are customer led through research conducted into nominee operations and represent a true benchmark of achievement.

Both Rentlocally and Murray & Currie have undergone significant expansion over the last few years, mostly organic.

Another Edinburgh client, Click-let, has also just revealed the findings from independent research into its landlord customer base. With 8 out of 10 unconditionally willing to recommend and the rest happy to depending on the requirements of the individual, fair to conclude this is a resounding success for the company who turned 10 years old last year.

In other news, hot on the heels of the consolidation and rebrand of the Lomond Group (Edinburgh) companies into the new look Braemore, the company announced the acquisition of Steyn Lettings. We wish both parties well with the integration and Michael if you’re reading, send us a nice postcard from wherever you go when all the work is done.

The new consolidated Braemore recently committed their future to Citylets as part of their overall marketing package to landlords with a new 2 year deal. The other portal chosen was Rightmove. We wonder how the Edinburgh agent market will be looking in 2 years time- no doubt continued change ahead.
